Our client, a forward-thinking firm with a focus on commercial dispute resolution and litigation, is looking for a Partner to join them in a permanent staff position.


The Role

As a Partner in the Litigation team, you will play a leading role in managing and growing the firm’s high-stakes litigation practice. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional legal services to a wide range of clients, including high-net worth individuals, family offices, businesses, and other professional entities, while maintaining a focus on the firm’s values and delivering outstanding client outcomes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial litigation, a strong reputation within the industry, and a demonstrated ability to drive business development and lead teams.


Key Responsibilities

client Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of high-profile and complex litigation cases, providing expert legal advice and delivering results in line with client objectives.


Business Development: Play a key role in the firm’s growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with clients, and expanding the firm’s network and reputation.


Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior lawyers, associates, and paralegals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the litigation team.


Case Strategy and Execution: Take responsibility for the strategic direction and management of client cases, including oversight of legal research, drafting legal documents, and conducting negotiations and settlements.


Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of your portfolio, ensuring billing targets are met and that the firm’s financial practices align with the firm’s objectives and client expectations.


Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and seminars, positioning yourself as a thought leader in the litigation field.

Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure the firm’s litigation practice is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, minimising risk for both the firm and its clients.


Key Requirements

Skills & Experience 

  • Proven years of experience in Business Development and Sales roles selling to blue-chip multinationals in the region (UK, Netherlands or Iberia) 

  • Have the inner drive to consistently close deals and hit sales targets whilst always looking for the next opportunity.

  • Be able to work efficiently whilst managing multiple priorities and working to defined Sales targets

  • Be able to connect with the goals and values of the organisation and are committed to developing and continuing the philosophy that supports them. 

  • Have the drive to be at the beginning of something big, to shape a business through high growth

  • Have the capability to learn knowledge of technical products and processes to best sell to clients
