Description
Our client is a global cleantech business leading the way to a zero-carbon future. They are an innovative and rapidly growing solar thermal developer and are now seeking an experienced Sales professional with expertise in the renewables arena to power their regional growth in Spain. This client is also seeking a BD Lead in the Netherlands, and in the UK.
The Role
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for leading the exciting commercialisation journey of our client’s high-density solar technology product.
Key Responsibilities
To sell our Client’s products to organisations who wish to transform carbon-intensive heating into sustainable solar thermal.
Identify new customers, particularly within Technical Design Consultancies and Commercial
Property companies.
You will be selling our Client’s products to both individual customers and companies that offer
both immediate and future opportunities.
Gain in depth understanding of customer requirements and develop solutions for them
Convert demand/leads into orders with support from the Technical Design team.
In line with our Client’s growth plans, you will collaborate with the wider Commercial team to
monitor sales opportunities in markets both within Spain and internationally.
Key Requirements
Skills & Experience
Proven years of experience in Business Development and Sales roles selling to blue-chip multinationals in the region (UK, Netherlands or Iberia)
Have the inner drive to consistently close deals and hit sales targets whilst always looking for the next opportunity.
Be able to work efficiently whilst managing multiple priorities and working to defined Sales targets
Be able to connect with the goals and values of the organisation and are committed to developing and continuing the philosophy that supports them.
Have the drive to be at the beginning of something big, to shape a business through high growth
Have the capability to learn knowledge of technical products and processes to best sell to clients
