Overview of the role

As Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day resourcing operations. Your remit will include providing a comprehensive, inclusive talent acquisition function, from developing outreach programs, advice, and support.

You will provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on the entire recruitment lifecycle including interviewing techniques and best practices.

You’ll oversee our relationships with supplier partners too. You will also source candidates directly using various mediums including job boards, websites, the internet, and social media. Importantly, you will help reduce recruitment costs and create a pipeline of talent.

Main duties/roles and responsibilities

  • Provide specialist technical expertise to lead both proactive and reactive Recruitment activities.
  • Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with People Managers and People Leads providing market insights and accountability for candidate experience, including tracking, assessment, feedback, and offer (for externals), and assisting with internal offers as needed
  • Work with People Managers to establish business requirements and to determine applicant requirements, leads, and coaches’ managers throughout the process to drive the identification, selection, and landing of the best talent
  • Deliver the end-to-end recruitment process for candidates
  • Source the best candidates for vacancies using a range of mediums and channels- owning the creation and execution of a sourcing strategy to generate both active and passive talent for current and future vacancies
  • Act as a candidate relationship manager during hiring processes for immediate needs while proactively building talent pools for future hiring needs and providing high-touch support for key Recruitment moments that matter to candidates and hiring

Experience required

  • Talent Acquisition experience in-house and/or ideally agency/search
  • International sourcing and recruitment experience
  • Experience in using multiple sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill roles
  • Digital marketing understanding
  • Research and executive sourcing skills
  • Extensive networks and contacts within the nuclear industry are desirable but not essential
  • Effective consulting, presentation, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate and utilize job boards and interface systems including LinkedIn
  • Delivery of assessments
