Our client, a legal practice, is looking for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their team based in Mayfair. Within the role you will be working closely with a leading commercial litigation Silk, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing practice.

The practice specialises in a number of areas including Commercial Dispute Resolution, Civil Fraud, Fintech & Digital Currency Regulation, Regulatory and Compliance and Public Law and is looking to grow its private client offering.

Advising on a variety of complex, multijurisdictional matters, covering all aspects of private client work including trusts, wills, income tax, inheritance tax, probate and estate administration, the successful candidate will have experience of dealing with high-net-worth individuals based in the UK and overseas. This is a senior appointment and a following of clients is therefore desirable. You should have a track record of winning new business and the desire to further develop the practice.

You will be responsible for a varied caseload covering a variety of private client matters. The practice receives a significant amount of direct instruction as well as referrals from a variety of law firms.

Person specification:

  • English qualified solicitor
  • Significant private client experience gained in an international law firm
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Pro-active with an ability to work autonomously
  • STEP qualified would be an advantage
