Recruitment Specialist

Job Summary:

We are a specialist resourcing company who operate and conduct our business using leading market software. We are now in our tenth year and have a broad and loyal range of customers across several sectors including Oil & Gas, Renewables, Construction, Manufacturing, Professional services, Technology etc. We operate across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas and offer several recruitment services such as perms, contract, retained but most of our work and success is supported using search techniques and new technologies.

We are an ISO accredited firm and have been members of the REC since inception. We are also a relatively small but efficient team, but we now need to add to the business due to continued success with business development and cultivating existing customers and relationships.

We are looking for team members to join us and bolster our recruitment capability. You may be a more senior resourcing person or perhaps only come with a few months of practical experience. Either way we remain open minded about the type of colleagues we wish to add to the team. We offer a flexible working environment in what is a technology led business. This is not a sales role in terms of winning new business but is a role which recruits, screens, and presents good candidates for our clients across Europe.

A quarterly bonus mechanism, sick pay, medical and life insurance are available as well as a competitive base salary.


  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, reviewing and improving the presentation of vacant roles for candidate engagement.
  • Assist with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
  • Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
  • Draft recruitment advertisements: posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
  • Undertake market searches on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
  • Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers.
  • Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
  • Vet potential employees’ credentials.
  • Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
  • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience of IT related recruitment delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.
  • Have an understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as an appreciation of the importance of policies and local employment law and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field required.
  • Some recruiting experience required, which will be dependent upon the level of role you seek with prior experience in technical roles a plus.
