Our Client is one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing fintech companies, and they are now seeking a UK pensions expert to join their exciting and business-critical Solutions Team. You will be playing a key role as the UK pensions subject matter expert in a consulting and analytical capacity, helping customers solve how they can deliver their pensions and savings products using our Client’s platforms and digital solutions.

This is a permanent staff role, based in our Client’s central London HQ (post COVID), with work-from-home flexibility offered. Role and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following;

  • Analyse this company’s client’s pensions administration requirements as part of the pre-sales process and document any gaps in functionality
  • Lead the discussion with clients and prospects on new functionality needed to enhance the platform and how existing pensions functionality meets their needs
  • Act in a consulting capacity with clients and potential clients to define the overall solution and how they plan to use the platform’s functionality
  • Work with customers in gathering their business requirements as part of the pre-discovery phase of a platform implementation
  • Build up a knowledgebase of pensions requirements in the UK and keep abreast of any regulatory or compliance requirements
  • Develop best practice processes and standards for effectively running a pensions business on our Client’s platform
  • Participate in pre sales pitches and selection processes, giving prospects details of pensions functionality supported by our Client’s platform
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and updates both internally and with clients, as and when requested

Knowledge and experience required;

  • Significant and proven experience consulting, advising or managing UK pension schemes specifically defined contributions
  • Knowledge of the pensions and benefits market in the UK
  • Experience in a client facing role is required
  • Proven ability to analyse a client’s pensions administration requirements, specifically as they relate to the underlying technology that supports the administration
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Good understanding of the pre-sales process including RFPs and due diligence exercises
  • Must be a resident in the UK, as there is no relocation allowance included, and be able to commute into London on a daily basis
