Main duties/role and responsibilities

• To work with the Director for Procurement & Supply Chain in developing and implementing a clear Supply Chain strategy and operation to deliver an operationally effective and cost efficient Supply Chain for the key account.
• To engage collaboratively with the MA (Managed Agent), Retail and Operational teams, as well as the key account themselves, to ensure that all relevant inputs to the Demand Plan are received, understood and communicated on a timely basis to the Supply Chain team, allowing them to build and implement Demand and Supply plans accordingly to deliver the operational and cost performance required
• Manage the Product Planning Manager in collecting and communicating all Demand Inputs for communication to the Demand Planning team
• To engage collaboratively with the Supply Chain Director to ensure that all operational and cost performance KPI’s are measured, tracked and reported to the key account on a regular and timely basis, that all risks are identified and communicated and resolutions implemented accordingly
• To participate in all discussions and decision making concerning the immediate and future Operational strategy, with all parties
• Lead the planning and successful implementation of the transition of the supply chain activities from all parties, as well as the IT transition and financial elements of the transition
• Build the plan for operational and cost performance improvement and the integration of the ER and supply chains including operational cost reduction and performance improvement across the LMP network
• To represent the Supply Chain function in all scheduled weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings, communicating operational and cost performance against budgeted targets
• To identify, implement and drive ongoing operational and cost efficiencies within the Supply Chain, delivering ongoing cost to serve benefits, reporting progress regularly to the Procurement & Supply Chain Director, and key account holder
• To manage the Supply Chain in ensuring that targets are met and penalties not incurred, driving profitability in delivering the Supply Chain services
• Maintain strong relationships with 3PL’s and suppliers, ensuring forecasts are shared appropriately and that their performance is measured, communicated and improved to required levels
• Work closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain Director and Supply Chain team to develop and implement the Supply Chain network design to meet the evolving needs of the key account as part of the broader Supply Chain as it continues to grow

Attributes/ Experience required

• Demonstrable Leadership skills
• Strong Supply Chain experience in multiple environments, knows what good looks like
• End to End Supply Chain Operations professional, experience with suppliers, warehousing, logistics, planning
• Supplemented by professional qualifications such as CIPD/ILT, CIPs/MCIPs or equivalent
• Proven ability in International Operations and Supply Chain
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative team player
• Ability to travel as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills
• UK Driving Licence
• Educated to Degree level preferred
• Professional Supply Chain qualification such as CIPD/ILT, CIPs/MCIPs or equivalent preferred
