Digital Solutions Engineer

Our client provides advanced integrity management software solutions designed and developed by asset integrity experts.

The Role

Support PDM with the onboarding (data migration & configuration) of integrity management software solutions, including ongoing service support of clients to ensure smooth execution of the contract.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Project Delivery Manager with client onboarding activities
  • First/second-line client interface support services to ensure smooth contract execution
  • Providing technical input to product QA and responsible for delivery of PT activities
  • Responsible for project reporting to Project Delivery Manager

Main Tasks

Client Onboarding:

  • Execute data migration activities in line with PDM requirements, including working with clients to prepare their data for loading into their system
  • Execute specific configuration updates in the software (Configuration Module)
  • Support PDM in the creation of client onboarding pivotal tracker stories; including management and support of software engineers to deliver in line with the project plan
  • Provide client training where required

Client Service Support:

  • First/second line software support for all service level agreements (SLAs),
  • Support clients in improving integrity management operations through digital solutions

Product quality assurance (QA) & delivery:

  • Support Director and PDM in the development and delivery of product enhancement stories (pivotal tracker – PT); including research & development of new products
  • Support PDM in QA sign-off of all pivotal tracker stories and workshop delivery
  • Provide support for integration with third-party technologies i.e. digital twin technology (app development capabilities desired)

Project Engineering:

  • Provide input to the weekly project plan (MS Projects) and status report updates, including financial governance (variations etc)
  • Support Director with financial reporting and delivery of operational objectives in line with the business plan

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant Technical or Science discipline
  • Preferably 3+ years’ experience in Integrity databases and product implementation
  • Experience in risk-based assessment and repair techniques are desirable
  • Effective Team Player
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the company and with clients
  • Experience with data migration techniques such as excel Power Query is essential
  • Microsoft azure, coding, artificial intelligence and data science experience are desired but not essential
